When purchasing a computer locally, we do not, at this time, offer refunds or returns. This is for a variety of reasons:
1) We run our business outside of our home, therefore we have no way of inviting someone (strangers) inside to work on the PC and try to replicate whatever issue one may be having. This is something that is bound to change with time (we are hoping to have a test bench in the near future). At the moment, we cannot guarantee ours or the customer's safety when entering our or their home to work on a PC.
2) Computers are stress-tested immediately before a sale. If one has a problem with the PC once arriving at home, there are so many factors at play (from the drive home knocking something out of place, to a power surge at the customer's house), that there is no way to say for sure whether the issue is due to the PC or its environment. We know that the computer worked before we handed over, but we don't have all the information of what happened between that and the issue being relayed over to us.
Therefore, due to the high possibility of scams, especially over Facebook marketplace, where we do majority of our local sales, we cannot risk refunds or returns at this time. We will still do everything in our power to resolve your issue through troubleshooting over text, phone, email or video call.
We hope you can understand. :)
When purchasing a computer over Jawa, we have a 48hr return period policy from once the product arrives. Many things can go wrong when shipping a PC, but our packaging is secure, snugly supporting your computer throughout the shipping process. Should your box arrive visibly damaged, or the PC arrives with parts falling out, please make sure you take lots of picture and videos as proof, to make the return and refund process as smooth as possible. To our knowledge, Jawa primarily deals with the return/refund process, should there be any problems, so please make sure you contact them directly, when/if necessary.
